Reviews and Ratings
Baraza is a stunning getaway that provides an immersive experience in luxury. The villas are incredibly spacious and remarkable, while the staff is attentive and welcoming. Although the dining options are excellent with diverse offerings, improving consistency in service would elevate the experience further. Overall, it truly feels like a paradise in Zanzibar.
My family and I had an amazing five-day stay at this private resort, where we were welcomed by spacious villas and excellent food. The spa treatments were exquisite, and the staff truly made our holiday spectacular. However, we had a frustrating experience while checking in and dealing with a couple of maintenance issues, which slightly dampened the otherwise fantastic holiday vibe.
Baraza is a beautiful oasis with stunning Moorish decor and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff provides excellent service, especially in the dining area, but there are inconsistencies in the welcome experience and room maintenance. The location is remote, requiring a bit of bravery to venture away from the hotel, and while the food can be exceptional, the dining setup sometimes falls short. Overall, it's a great retreat for relaxation but may not suit those seeking more action or adventure.
I had the pleasure of staying at a resort that offered stunning views and a serene atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. The very spacious and beautifully appointed villa provided all the comforts you could wish for. While I enjoyed the all-inclusive dining experience with top-notch food, the variety could be improved. The beautiful beach and warm waters truly enhanced my vacation, although the diving experience was just okay. Overall, it felt like paradise with a few minor areas for improvement.
Our stay at Baraza was nothing short of magical. The oceanfront room provided stunning views and allowed us to enjoy the soothing sounds of the waves. The staff were incredibly attentive, almost anticipating our needs, which made us feel welcomed and cared for. Dining options were excellent with a diverse menu, but we felt some meals could have had more variety. Overall, this was a peaceful and luxurious retreat, making it well worth the price.
My stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful. The location on the East Coast provides a serene escape with access to beautiful views of the ocean. The rooms are luxurious and spacious, making relaxation easy. The dining experience was truly impressive, with a wide range of delicious offerings, though the dress code for dinner was a bit strict. Overall, it was an incredible place for a honeymoon, but I did find it slightly inconvenient that some guests weren't adhering to the dress code.
Our stay was truly magical, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and luxury. The villas were spacious and spotless, making it a comfortable escape after our safari. The dining options were diverse, and the staff added to the friendly atmosphere. However, the beachfront could have had more shade options, especially during peak sun hours.
This resort truly feels like a slice of paradise. The luxurious villas offer incredible privacy and comfort, while the service throughout our stay made us feel like we were being pampered every moment. The beach is breathtaking, though the experience changes dramatically with the tide. If you're after a peaceful retreat, this is definitely the place. Just keep in mind that when the tide is low, the beach experience alters quite a bit.
Baraza Resort and Spa in Zanzibar is an absolutely stunning place to unwind after our safari adventure. The villas are spacious and luxuriously designed, providing plenty of room for our family. The service here is outstanding; we felt genuinely cared for during our stay. The dining options are diverse and delightful, with a fantastic showcase of local cuisine. However, the only downside is the distance from the airport, as it takes about 75 minutes to reach the hotel.
